He only wants to dance!
Almog Ben Ami’s path was clear from the start—his father, Itzik Ben Ami,  and uncle, Nissim Ben Ami, are both markidim. He began dancing at age four and today, at 32, leads five weekly sessions in the Krayot area.

After his army service, Almog traveled to the USA, but within two weeks, he missed Israeli folk dancing and returned home. His sessions now draw dancers from across the North and nearby kibbutzim.

He recently co-choreographed the partner dance Menagen VeShar with Michael Barzilay. We’re excited to have Almog and his amazing energy on our team.
